Advancing Communities Forward

Empowering foster youth ages 18 to 21 with safe housing, life skills, and the support they need to build independent, thriving futures.

Every young person deserves a safe place to call home

Our mission is to empower foster youth ages 18 to 21 by providing safe, supportive transitional housing and the essential life skills needed to thrive independently.

Multiple studies show that youth aging out of the foster care system face disproportionate challenges, including housing instability, joblessness, academic difficulties, early parenthood, and substance use. We exist because these young people deserve more than a statistic. They deserve a chance.

Young people together, representing community and support

What happens when foster youth age out

Every year, thousands of young people "age out" of the foster care system with no family, no safety net, and nowhere to go. The statistics are staggering.

Shelter Strength Future

We believe in equipping youth with the tools, confidence, and stability needed to build self-sufficient, successful, and sustainable lives.

Building futures, one step at a time

We are a transitional housing placement program providing comprehensive support services designed to set young people up for lasting independence.

Supervised Housing

Safe, stable transitional housing where youth can focus on building their future.

A Safe Foundation

Our supervised housing program provides a stable, supportive environment. Youth have their own space while being part of a community that looks out for them.

Case Management

Personalized support plans and dedicated case managers who walk alongside each youth.

Your Personal Guide

Every youth gets a dedicated case manager who creates a personalized plan, tracks progress, and connects them with the resources they need to thrive.

Life Skills Training

Practical skills for independent living: cooking, budgeting, time management, and more.

Real World Ready

From cooking and cleaning to interviewing for jobs and signing a lease, we teach the everyday skills that most people learn at home.

Financial Literacy

Banking, budgeting, credit building, and smart money habits for long-term stability.

Money That Works

We teach youth how to open bank accounts, build credit, create budgets that stick, and avoid the financial traps that keep people in poverty cycles.

Wraparound Support

Mental health resources, mentorship, and holistic care tailored to each individual.

The Whole Person

We connect youth with mental health professionals, mentors, and community resources so they never have to navigate their challenges alone.

24/7 Availability

Our team is here whenever youth need support, day or night, because life does not follow a 9 to 5 schedule.

Always Here

Crisis does not wait for business hours. Our staff is available around the clock to make sure no youth ever feels stranded or alone when they need help most.
